Every puzzle hides one cognitive-neuroscience term from the course. You get up to five clues, hardest first. Guess after any clue; a wrong guess (or a skip) reveals the next one. Solve on clue 1 for 5 points, clue 2 for 4, and so on down to 1 point on the last clue.

Free recall (hard) — no list. Type the term from memory. Spelling is forgiving (accents, punctuation, small typos and common alternate names all count), but you have to retrieve it yourself. This is what the exam feels like, and it has its own leaderboards.
A wrong guess that is a real term from the bank tells you whether it is in the same category as the answer (🟨) or not (🟥). Categories: people & history, neurons & signaling, neuroanatomy, orientation & planes, brain damage & dissociations, methods, fMRI & decoding.
Daily — one puzzle per day, the same for everyone. Share your result and keep a streak.
Endless — puzzle after puzzle, filterable by lecture. Three misses end the run; your total points go to the endless leaderboard.
You get the full definition, which study-guide item it comes from, and a link to the Brain Lab where you can see it, so a miss still teaches you something.
